Hello everyone :)

Can't concentrate much on writing because of my exams going on........ This time, I want to tell u people about a ghost which has been haunting me since my childhood days......

No..... This one's not about scary and horrifying ghosts........ This is about an ability of mine which is looked upon by everyone as being bad......... Just imagine...... If the blogs were not invented in the internet..... Then what would have happened ??? First of all, I would not have discovered that I had a flair for writing........... Even if, I had somehow written it by my hand and these writings are posted to u by some means....... Then u would have surely thrown them away as u can't understand a word of what I had written...... Yeah !!! The topic that I am writing about is HANDWRITING :)

Right from my schooldays, I'd always been chided by everyone for my handwriting...... All the teachers and my fellow classmates used to scold me for this  because they couldn't understand what I had written....... I'd always been earmarked as the one with the bad handwriting.......... Due to this, many English teachers started hating me....... But I never tried to change it........... Even my mother tried her best to change it, but all her efforts were in vain.........

Whenever I start to write, I always make it a point to understand what I write, I never care about what others think about my handwriting...... There are some people who can't even understand what they have written.......

I've always wondered..... Why does the society still value handwriting in this advanced age of i-phones and i-pads ??? Why can't we just let go of the people with bad handwriting ??? Is it essential ??? Why do everyone evaluate a person on the basis of his/her handwriting ???

Isaac Newton, Abraham Lincoln, Jawaharlal Nehru, Micheal Jackson, Sachin Tendulkar, John Lennon, Beethoven, Adolf Hitler, Bill Gates, Scarlett Johannsen, Albert Einstein, all had a bad handwriting........ But they are the most famous people on the Earth.......

What do u say about that huh ??? What would have happened if they had been conned by the society for their bad handwriting ???

What I am trying to say is that a person can never be judged by his handwriting........ He may be good at some other thing too...... It would be better if the society forgives all the people with bad handwriting....... Instead, a new way must be found out for such people........ They must be asked to write in such a way that at least they can understand their writing......... Or, some sort of device must be invented which can help in recognition of bad writings......

For all of u people out there with bad hand writings, don't worry........ I have had plenty of advantages of having this ability........ Nobody disturbed me saying that I should write something for them...... Some absent-minded teachers gave me full marks as they could understand only a few key-words that I had written in my answer-sheets...... And I can proudly say to all others who comment on my handwriting......

"It is not bad handwriting, it is my own font :)"

Many handwriting experts are also looking for variations in the English fonts.......... Be proud that u people are not writing like all the others......

To the society, I wish to state that, "I am unique because I have my own font...... Doesn't matter whether u people can't understand what I write..... I am not like the others :)"

Auntyji Auntyji !!! Get Up And Dance :)

Recently, when i was listening to the song "Auntyji" from the film "Ek Main Aur Ekk Tuu", i felt that a tribute had to be paid from my side to all the aunties in this world........

Aunty is a word used by the younger generation in India to call a married lady with kids....... They can be found almost everywhere (It is as if they are omnipresent)...... In the local buses with a heavy purse hanging on their shoulders, in the markets haggling with the vegetable and fruit vendors, in the schools paying a visit to the teachers and asking their kids to behave properly, in the doctors offices with their sick children and with a tear trickling down their cheeks..........

I vividly remember those golden days when my father's sister, whom i call as aunty, instead of calling her as "Athai" in Tamil, stayed in my home for a few weeks........ She was the first person who inspired me as an aunty......... The way in which she used to mix the rice and sambhar for me by using the entire fingers of her hand, how she used to let me watch tv only after i had finished my homework, she was the main reason why i and my brother started to hate brinjals (my mother blames her for this even now)...... She was both a strict and a caring person..........

Aunties are the next people who take care of us........ Be it the neighbourhood aunties, those who are gossip experts, or our friends mothers, always asking us to take care of ourselves and not letting us fall into trouble....... They are the next persons who we look up after our parents.......

If you go to your friend's house, you'll be treated by his/her mother as the next child in the family...... You will be entitled to delicious foods and the affection which you get can never be compared with anything else....... I have felt the same when i visited two of my friend's houses........

But there are a few aunties who will surely be hated by everyone, because of their nature...... They try to break our friendships and also spread unnecessary gossips in the neighbourhood.......

All this is due to the care they show towards their children....... Yes........ Gossips are common among the neighbourhood, but it is upto you to rise among all of them and prove them wrong..........

I myself have hated my neighbouring aunties a lot......... It was because they used to see me as if i was an alien from an outer planet, since i was studying in a CBSE school....... I never gave heed to that and went on with my respective work.........

Whatever !!! All i wish to say is that aunties are an integral part of our society........ They must be treated with dignity, irrespective of the fact whether they are literate or not.......... They are the angels of our lives, other than our parents and teachers........

And........ A note for all the girls out there....... Don't feel bad or angry when boys call you as "Aunties"...... It is just to state that you people are going to become the next angels of our society, the ones who'll be admired and adored by the generations to come.........

My Tryst with Technology

Wikipedia defines technology as the making, modification, usage, and knowledge of tools, machines, techniques, crafts, systems, and methods of organization, in order to solve a problem, improve a preexisting solution to a problem, achieve a goal, handle an applied input/output relation or perform a specific function.

Hi hi :) Due to carelessness, i bet a lot of u people may have skipped reading the above definition (caught ya :)......

In this age of i-phones and ultrabooks, restlessness is one of the attitude which seems to be growing exponentially, just like the way microbes grow after having placed them on a culture plate...... To explain this, let me give u an example.......

I was a vigorous text message addict until January 2013....... In my first year, i was free for most of the time....... The guilty feeling of wasting most of my precious time prompted me to do something which was exciting...... Text messages provided me with both excitement and communication....... Many of the girls with whom i texted were equally interested in replying to my text messages........ But eventually, their interest wore off since i was getting too boring with my no-nonsense attitude........ So they simply stopped replying...... This made me really very angry....... The evil called "Restlessness" started to conquer my mind and i even tortured a few girls by sending them even more messages (A big SORRY to them)......... As time flew by, my interest in text-messaging decreased, courtesy; no replies..........It was only in Jan 2013 that i finally managed to stop this big monstrous addiction........

NOTE : Texting may have stopped haunting me, but the habit of putting too many full stops in between sentences is still not leaving me damn !!!

So, the next time u people open the 'create message' icon, please think of my rendezvous with this devilish icon guys............

Technology seems to be everywhere........... Right from your shirt buttons, where a small video camera can be installed to see the happenings in the room (I saw this one in a Mission Impossible movie), to the heels of your shoes, which can act as a make-shift storage place for data-storing micro chips........

The software revolution is slowly giving way to a new and innovative world where the cell-phones are qualified by the number of "Apps" and the amount of fun generated by them......

The other day, i told my room-mate....... "I really hate the way you waste time by always looking at your Sony Xperia phone........ Go and study something you idiot !" to which he replied....... "Even i too have the thought of studying something, but this phone doesn't let me study anything"....... Technology has started to interfere in the normal day-to-day jobs of man......... It is so attractive, with its glamorous and youthful appeal, that it is sure to send anyone into a state of bliss and excitement, without letting the user know its bad intentions.........

Technology mates with the mind, and has a baby named "Obesity"...... Who doesn't know about it yaar ??? An idle body is responsible for the deposition of fats everywhere......... Whenever i open the Hindu newspaper's Metroplus, i see that there are atleast 2 or more articles on how to overcome obesity...... This tells us about the frequency of occurrence of obesity in the next generation..... Beware...... Even you may have to face it if you remain glued to your laptops and desktop computers for the whole day, without doing anything......

Most of my hostel-mates have turned introvert with the inauguration of a new laptop in their rooms.......... They can never be seen outside, except in the mess......... It seems like the laptops have become their new best friends......... They can't part with it, not even for a second......... The way they talk with us friends has also changed....... They speak very vaguely regarding everything..........

Nowadays, if you ask a kid whether he wants a black-berry, he'll say yes, anticipating that you are really going to gift him with a phone from that series........ The fruits are returning again, but in a techie avatar..... Apple, blackberry,......etc and the race to get them is getting even more competitive....... Everyone owns a touchscreen set nowadays.......... Right from the 10th std students to the roadside shopkeepers........

Even i wanted to own a touchscreen set....... But my parents wouldn't buy me one since they don't want me to waste their money by breaking it accidentally....... I am a very rough user of touchscreen phones........ My current phone has fallen for, i think, at least 50-60 times and it's still working, thanks to its make and qualiity........

I read this joke at fb one day..... A man goes to a dentist and says, "I have Bluetooth problem. Please Check it and help me..... It really hurts...." The dentist is confused and replies, "Sir, I am a dentist. I don't repair cell-phones. Go to a local mobile phone dealer with your problem......" The man simply opens his mouth to the dentist, who, much to his surprise sees that one of his tooth has actually turned blue. The man then said, "My tooth turned blue because i had accidentally swallowed ink in my office.... The tooth filling has also wore off.... Now it is paining a lot...... Please help me !!!"

I am saying all this because i myself am a technology freak...... Believe me, i have been caught red-handed using my cell-phone at 2.30 am in the night by my father.......... He gave me a long lecture that cell-phones are bad for our eyes, and they are addictive in nature...... I know that, but still it had tightened its noose around me and i could not get any sleep...... I had also activated the gprs facility in it that day, so i wanted to have my money's worth....... It took a lot of convincing from my side to get the phone back......

The other facet of buying a new technology is money...... As new technologies grow, the cost also grows proportionally...... One tends to get frustrated because he/she is not getting the money's worth for what they have bought....... The Chinese are the ones responsible for this kind of a problem...... Their technologies look very interesting and exciting to use, but they come of use for only about 2-3 years....... One of my friends is a connoisseur on Chinese technologies..... He always buys them since they are cheap and stylish to look........

Facebook is another thing which attracts me all the time........ Its unique features of getting everyone hooked to it are notable.......The "Like", "Share", "Posts", "Status", "Comments" had a variety of meanings before, but now, they all mean the same to everyone...... If any one of these happen to come on your computer screen, the excitement and the happiness that follows is just like in heaven.......... Many boys, (including me) use it to chat with girls all the time...... P.S. It is the next thing haunting me after text messages ;)

My parents bought a desktop computer when i was studying in 2nd std....... During those days, my brother was the one who used to play games in it........ I would simply watch him playing, guiding him during all those "Missions" which he completed........ I was, and am not at all interested in playing games and sports........ But gaming on computers is altogether a different activity........ It doesn't involve any usage of our hands and legs....... It requires only our fingers and eyes....... Yes, i accept, that they increase our observation power and the flexibility........ But they are also the main torch-bearers of obesity.......

Now, new technologies used especially for gaming purposes have arisen...... X-box 360, X-box 361,........ the list is endless....... Many of the kids are urging their parents to buy those for their enjoyment....... Motion-sensors are finding use in them. The characters in the game move according to the kid's movement....... This helps in curbing obesity in kids to some extent........

Technology, as a whole, is widely developing in all the phases of life...... It is also becoming an integral organ of our bodies too............. Be it the B.P. or sugar-checking device connected to our arms, or the Google "Glasses"- a sun glass which can be used as a camera and bluetooth device........

It has enabled the weak and the old people to live with lot of artificial organs, and is responsible for increasing our life-expectancy...... It has made this large world smaller, and unifies people from across the world...... Its reach knows no boundaries and has the capacity to change everything......... As i write from this laptop (a senior's laptop), i feel both blessed to express my feelings to you people in a free manner, and i am equally unsatisfied with the way it has affected me by making me a tech-freak and addict..........
